Examination Guidelines
I. Overview
The Central Conservatory of Music is the highest institution for music education in China.
Since 1989, it has conducted graded examinations in multiple countries and regions to
promote Chinese musical culture. With a rigorous academic approach and strong tradition, it
provides professional and authoritative assessment for amateur learners of Chinese musical
instruments worldwide.
To promote cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Canada, the examination
in Canada is organized and administered by the British Columbia Chinese Music
Association, which also supports the development of Chinese music locally.

2. Levels and Eligibility
● Levels range from Grade 1 to Grade 9, with an additional Performance Level for all
listed instruments.
● Open to candidates of all ages with relevant training.
Notes:
● Candidates must pass Grade 9 before applying for the Performance Level.
● Candidates may freely choose an appropriate grade (except Performance Level).
● A candidate may not apply for multiple grades of the same instrument at the same
time.
● Candidates must wait for results before registering again.
● It is recommended to consult instructors when choosing a level.
II. Registration
1. Registration Period
● June 15 – August 15, 2026
● Receipt and candidate number issued: September 1 – 30, 2026

● For candidates under 18: parent and teacher information
Important Notes:
● No admission ticket will be issued. Use a valid photo ID (passport, PR card, driver’s
license).
● Ensure accuracy of email and address.
○ Correction fee: CAD $5
○ Certificate reissue due to errors: CAD $50 + shipping
3. Examination Fees
● Grade 1: $100
● Grade 2: $110
● Grade 3: $120
● Grade 4: $130
● Grade 5: $140
● Grade 6: $150
● Grade 7: $170
● Grade 8: $190
● Grade 9: $210
● Performance Level: $300
III. Registration Policies
● No changes or refunds after registration.
● Changes after submission: CAD $5
● Late registration: additional CAD $20 (before Sept 1 only)
● No late registration after September 1.
IV. Examination and Certification
1. Format
● Video submission
● File name: Candidate number (e.g., CND-E26000)
2. Examination Period
● October 20 (8:00 AM) – October 25 (11:00 PM), 2026 (Vancouver Time)
● Upload via association website (avoid multiple uploads)
3. Location
● Candidates record videos at a location of their choice.
4. Results
● Released approximately 2–3 months after the exam via email
● May be delayed during peak periods or holidays
5. Certificates
● Issued approximately 2 months after results
V. Important Notes
1. Official CCM examination materials must be used.
2. Video requirements:
○ Front-facing camera, landscape mode (no selfie mode)
○ Resolution: 480P–720P
○ ≤30 fps, ≤300MB
○ No re-recorded or edited videos
3. Clean background and proper attire recommended
4. Candidate and full instrument must be visible
5. Candidate must announce:
○ Name
○ Candidate number
○ Repertoire
6. All required pieces must be performed; missing pieces = fail
7. Memorization required for all pieces except etudes (18+ exempt)
8. No sheet music visible unless permitted
9. Correct instrument must be used
10. No accompaniment or mute devices allowed
11. Repertoire must match registration
12. Performance Level requires proof of Grade 9 certificate
VI. Examination Content
For all instruments:
● One etude (may use sheet music)
● One piece (must be memorized, except candidates 18+)

一、概述
中央音乐学院(Central Conservatory of Music)是中国最高音乐学府。为弘扬中华民族音乐文化,中央音乐学院自1989年起先后在多个国家和地区开展考级工作,本着普及音乐教育的宗旨,以严谨的学术作风和优良传统,为海内外业余学习中国乐器的音乐人士,提供专业权威的水平鉴定与考核。
为推动和加强中国与加拿大地区的文化交流与合作,加拿大地区的考级工作由加拿大卑诗中乐协会负责组织与实施,协助推动当地中乐发展。
1.考级专业
二胡、琵琶、扬琴、古筝、中阮、柳琴、竹笛、笙、唢呐。

2.报考级别与报名对象
各专业水平定为一至九级,二胡、琵琶、扬琴、古筝、竹笛、笙、柳琴、中阮、唢呐设有演奏级。
凡学过以上专业,具有一定程度者均可报名参加,年龄不限。
除演奏级别需要考过9级外,其他级别考生可自由选择合适的级别考试,同一专业同一考生不可同时报考多个级别,待当次考级成绩发布后,方可继续报考。(建议考生参考指导教师意见选择适宜的级别报考。)
二、报名
1.报名时间
报名时间:2026年6月15日至8月15日。
发送收据和考生编号(收据号即为考生编号):9月1日-30日
2.报名方式
报名只接受网上报名,到时可以进入协会网站www.bccma.net报名,如有问题请电邮至mail@bccma.net联系。
*报名时请按照要求仔细填写英文姓名、中文姓名(可选)、生日、手机号、报考专业、级别、曲目、通讯地址、18岁以下需填写家长及指导教师姓名及联系方式等。
考试前不再发送准考证,考试时凭官方制作的带有头像的证件参加(护照,枫叶卡,驾照等)
考生的联系邮箱和邮寄地址非常重要,请务必认真核对,如因为填写错误而导致的接收不到由本人负责,需要修改的将收取5加币的手续费。
证书数据将从考生提供的报名信息中提取,一经生成无法更改,请认真核对报名信息。如因姓名以及地址填写错误造成需要重新制作证书的,需要支付50加币的证书制作费和邮寄费。
3.考级收费
各级考级费标准如下:
一级, 100加币
二级, 110加币
三级, 120加币
四级, 130加币
五级, 140加币
六级, 150加币
七级, 170加币
八级, 190加币
九级, 210加币
演奏级, 300加币
三、报名原则
报名流程结束后,一律无法办理改报、退报。
报名后需要更改资料的需要补交5加币的更改费,逾期报名的请把资料发送到邮箱mail@bccma.net,同时需要支付20加币的补报费,9月1日后不再接收补报。
四、考试及发证
1.考试形式:
考试统一采取录像的形式进行,考生录制视频的档案名,请直接用考生编号即可,例如 CND-E26OOO
2.考试时间:
2026年10月20日8点至10月25日晚上11点(太平洋温哥华时间)到时请上传到协会的网站上,请不要多次上传,否则会随机接收视频。
3.考试地点:
考生录制视频地址自己决定。
4.成绩公布时间:
录像形式:约为考试结束后的2-3个月后(通过邮箱发送评审表),如遇中国寒、暑假及法定节假日等考级高峰期,成绩发布将酌情顺延。
5.发放证书:
约为成绩公布后2个月内。
- 注意事项
- 所有考生一律应使用正版中央音乐学院考级教材。
- 视频拍摄用正面镜头横屏录制(不得用自拍镜头录制),尺寸不低于480P,不高于720P,视频帧率不大于30fps,视频文件不大于300M。不可翻录。
- 录制背景应干净整洁,考生须着装整齐,建议穿正装或演出服。
- 考生(至少上半身)以及完整的乐器须出现在镜头内。
- 考试时,考生须先在镜头前手持准考证报出自己的姓名、考生编号及考试曲目,然后按照曲目顺序依次演奏。
- 考生应准备全部规定应考曲目,不得缺项,缺项视为不通过,不接受申诉;考生报考曲目应与考试实际演奏曲目保持一致,否则视为不规范,不接受申诉。因视频的时限特殊性,考试中如遇到反复,均无需反复,遇到不同结尾反复记号可以直接进入到第二结尾演奏。
- 除练习曲外,所有专业的乐曲考试内容一律要求背谱演奏(年满18周岁及以上的考生可例外)。在考生可视范围内不得摆放任何乐谱或纸张、写字板等疑似提示考试内容的物品(允许看谱的曲目,仅在演奏该曲目时允许将乐谱放置于考生面前),否则成绩将判为“不符合规范”,不接受申诉。
- 所考内容必须使用各专业对应的乐器来演奏,否则成绩为“不符合规范”,不接受申诉。
- 考生须自备演奏乐器并自行调音。
- 考级时一律不得使用伴奏或伴奏音频。所有专业均不得使用弱音器。
- 请认真核对报考曲目和实际演奏曲目,考试视频一旦正式上传,如报考曲目和实际演奏曲目不相符,按不规范处理。
- 各专业演奏级考生必须具有本专业最高级证书,报考时须注明9级证书的获得时间。
六、考试内容
1.古筝、二胡、琵琶、竹笛、笙、扬琴、柳琴、中阮、唢呐专业考试要求:
自选一首练习曲(可看谱);自选一首乐曲(背谱,年满18周岁以上的考生可例外)。
