The BC Chinese Chamber Ensemble (BCCCE) is a newly formed group under the BC Chinese Music Association (BCCMA). Our ensemble brings together amateur and professional musicians dedicated to performing on traditional Chinese instruments. Our repertoire spans from traditional to contemporary Chinese music, as
well as familiar classics.
We are committed to preserving the heritage of Chinese musical culture and promoting its appreciation within our multicultural society. While honoring tradition, we also embrace diversity by incorporating Western instruments, such as the glockenspiel and harp, when appropriate to enrich our musical presentations.
Thanks to our small size and flexible instrumentation, we are highly mobile and adaptable to a variety of performance settings. Our primary mission is community outreach, and we actively volunteer our performances at institutions such as care homes and cancer centers. We also perform at various cultural festivals and music events, using our music to serve and connect with the community.

 

南楓樂坊是庇詩中樂協會旗下新成立的團體。我們由業餘與專業音樂家組成，演奏中國傳統樂器，曲目涵蓋傳統與現代中樂，以及大眾耳熟能詳的經典樂曲。

本樂團致力於傳承中華音樂文化，並在多元文化社會中推廣中樂鑒賞。我們在尊重傳統的同時，也兼容並蓄，可根據演出需要融入如鋼片琴、豎琴等西方樂器，以豐富音樂表現力。

由於樂團編制小巧，機動性強，我們能靈活適應各類演出場合。我們的核心目標是回饋社區，積極在療養院、癌症中心等機構進行義演，同時也活躍於各類文化節與音樂節，以音樂服務社會。
