BCCO 2011 Autumn Concert
B.C. Chinese Orchestra
~~~ 16th Anniversary Autumn Concert ~~~
The 16th Anniversary Autumn Concert presented by B.C. Chinese Music Association will be held on October 15, 2011 Saturday 7:30 p.m. at the Michael J. Fox Theatre in Burnaby.
This concert presents a unique showcase of ethnic Chinese instrumental music. The concert will feature both traditional and contemporary Chinese music performed by the BC Chinese Orchestra conducted by Mr. Rui-Zhi Zhuo, Ge-Ling Jiang - Liqin soloist, Cantonese Ensemble, and Gavin Zhang winner of the 2011 Kiwanis Music Festival. Don't miss this opportunity to attend and enjoy pieces of solo, ensemble and orchestral styles in this musical extravaganza to welcome the arrival of autumn! The program includes:

各位老师，考生和家长们：
近日部份本地中樂老師，收到另類「中樂考級簡介」，跟已舉辦五年的『中國中央音樂學院與庇詩中樂協會中樂考級』類似，因而來電查詢情况。
經初步了解後，我們希望提醒大家，應該註意的幾個實况:
- 【中國中央音樂學院】和【庇詩中樂協會】聯合主辦目前唯一在加拿大全國的中樂技術及樂理考級。並自2007年開始獲卑詩省教育廳承認成績，唯一批准以【中央音樂學院】頒發合格以上成績的證書，申報為「中學校外課程」畢業學分，共可申報8個學分！在學術性和認受性的優越地位，不容置疑！
- 【中央音樂學院】是國內唯一被中國教育部批准在海外組織中樂考級的單位，在亞洲及北美等許多國家和地區已舉辦中樂考級，均由【中央音樂學院】組織和選派教授從北京親臨主考，專業公正。
- 曲目以【中央音樂學院】編寫的專業教材為準則，在教學和學習方面，最為權威、規範、系統、及科學化。
由於最近加拿大郵政局罷工影响，加拿大第六屆『中樂技術級別』考試報名截止日期順延至2011-7-15為最後日期，敬請老師及考生準時報名參考。考級簡章及報名表已備，並可在網址www.bccma.net繁體字版的「中樂考級」項目內下載簡章資料及報名表。
考期將於2011-10-29開始在温哥華卑詩大學音樂學院舉行，敬請衆老師、家長、學生留意準備。

To expand the culture of Chinese music, B.C. Chinese Music Association (BCCMA) , in collaboration with the Central Conservatory of Music of China (CCOM) , will host the 5th Overseas Chinese Instrumental Performance Grade Examinationon in Vancouver for Canada.

加拿大中樂演奏水平考級
為弘揚中華民族音樂文化，【中國中央音樂學院】和【庇詩中樂協會】聯合主辦，目前唯一在加拿大地區的第六屆『海外中樂演奏水平等級考試』（簡稱：中樂考級）。並自2007年開始獲卑詩省教育廳承認成績，批准以【中央音樂學院】頒發合格以上成績的證書，申報「中學校外課程」8個畢業學分！在學術性和認受性的優越地位，不容置疑！目的是協助推動中樂發展，配合本國多元文化政策發展。
【中央音樂學院】是中國最高水準音樂藝術學府，考級演奏術科包括：二胡、琵琶、揚琴、古箏、笛子、中阮，每科各分拾級，採用指定教材，並由【中央音樂學院】選派教授從北京親臨主考，評核專業公正。2010年在溫哥華、愛明頓、卡加利、多倫多及滿地可五地參加考級人次合共275位，合格率達百分九十以上，成績良好。
